Be staying at a vacation rental in the south of France it’s an 8 bed eight bath French Chateau built in the 12th century it’s going to be super exciting I’m going to take on a personal private tour of the property you’ll get to see the sites the surroundings so stick around for the

Journey I finally made it to but it’s been a long day my flight from Toronto to Frankfurt got delayed so I missed my connecting flight and basically spent the entire day getting rerouted to get here went through uh Brussels but I’m here I don’t have

Luggage which they say will be here in a day or two that’s fine but I did pick up my rental um based on the keys it looks like it’s something nice so I’m excited to see what it is it’s G going to take us to the Chateau it’s Christmas Eve it

Can’t get better than this you know what I am exhausted so the good news is I do have a driver that can take over the rains I’ll leave you with It I think we have arrived at the Chateau it is looking gorgeous fully lit at night I cannot wait to show you guys let’s go see it here is a glimpse now everyone’s inside let’s go knock on the door and surprise them look at this Grand do what’s secret password uh open sesame French

The private exclusive tour will be coming shortly so stay tuned for that but this is a little taste test for [Applause] later I’m in southern France in the region of provance at top the French elves The Chateau is almost a thousand years old so it’s steeped in Rich history it was actually built in the 12th century by the Templar knits and later owned by the io demoi family which the chatau is

Actually named after in the year 2000 it was purchased by the misson family who spent 5 years restoring and renovating it to create a harmonious marriage of old and new today the Chateau is almost 5,000 square ft with seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms offering modern amenities including an outdoor pool a

Hot tub a gym a botchy ball court a recck room a wine Celler and the list goes on and on but rather than me just talk about it let me show you so let’s get this tour underway I feel like I’ve been transported back in time I mean look at

This front door it has all the beautiful details very fitting of a French atau you’ve got your stone walls Your Castle leg scones the floor full accent lighting that illuminates these beautiful columns double height ceiling and the statement of this fo the grand piano in pearl white this space was

Always special during our stay here because shout out to Crystal she would sit here and bring the group together Play Beautiful music it was really something special and magical The space in itself has a very Charming historic feel um over here you’ve got more decco that just adds to the feel of the room now from here you can make your way to multiple different areas but where we’re going to go to next is the living

Room the living room has an intimate View it’s homey it’s cozy you’ve got a wood burning fireplace that’s front and center and a gorgeous handcarved Rosewood mantle that sits right above it overhead you get exposed beams that have been weathered for that Rustic Touch again like the foer a stone wall for

Continuity and in this corner a bar that has the same detailing as the mantle so you’ve got Rosewood handu Rosewood as you can see two seats for that intimate chitchat and plenty of lounging space so this is the area that we would come to every night before dinner we would share an

Entree a drink talk about our day and then we would come back into this space after dinner to play some board games continue drinking well into the night and for those who had extra energy they would find their way up to the recck room all right the wreck room this is

The space that would bring out our competitive sides we’ve got a pool table a foosball table and a TV where we could watch games or play music so we would Gather in this room we would play games we would work up an appetite and when dinner’s ready we would make our way to

The dining room as you can see it’s a grand dining room with a long table so it can easily fit up to 18 people it’s currently set up for a midday snack but before the crew gathers around the table let’s talk about this room it’s got chevrol and FRS

Stone walls floor accent lighting and in each corner you have chest at house some of the dinner wear now we would spend hours in this room over multiple courses that each person would prepare some nights we would have Italian other nights would have Greek some nights would even have French and some French

Staple dishes that we tried were ret roasted goose and cast A all right my son I don’t want to Merry Christmas I’m doing you a [Applause] favor now let’s go to the kitchen which is the height of the home through these Arch doorways the kitchen really has that French Countryside feel but with modern amenities that include commercial style appliances like this range with an sized oven a range hood two dishwashers a wall mounted oven a

Microwave and a fridge you also get two more fridges downstairs in The Wine Cellar now this space was quite magical for us because it’s where we would divide and conquer some people would cook and prep other people would clean it was organized chaos but a lot of memories were made here through this

Archway is the breakfast area overhead you have a groin vault ceiling so it really G gives off that intimate vibe in this corner is the coffee and uh bread station so in the morning you would come here you’d prepare your coffee you grab a loaf of bread and then you would move

To this Center Island where you would discuss what your day’s plans were and uh basically just enjoy a little bit of casual chitchat before making on that’s pretty much the main floor with the exception of one little surprise there’s a secret door that leads down to the wine Celler check this

Out this may take a little while so we’re in the wine Celler right now and I absolutely love the curved stone wall it definitely gives off that castle like Vibe the temperature here is much cooler than anywhere else so it’s perfect for storing wine you’ve got

Another seating area with a fire pit to crack open a bowl of wine share some stories and to give you a little bit of a background to uh this space it’s a wine Celler but prior to it was the Escape rat for the Templar knights so

What they would do is when they were under attack they would actually come down here and go through a tunnel that was behind this wall to actually get out of the chatau and away from any danger now this space is quite memorable because it was used as our celebration

Space during New Year’s Eve so so to give you a glimpse of what happened here it goes thank you very much for making this place come to life and don’t wreck it [Applause] Tonight 203 [Applause] off to the second and third floor we go that’s home to seven beds and seven baths as well as a secondary living room and the way to get there is through through this grand staircase with W iron railings so second floor for spacious bedrooms all with onsite bathrooms and

Their own individual configurations so if you’re staying here you get to pick whatever preference suits you be it exposure floor layout you know size of bedroom but if you had to pick one the master of this floor would be that bedroom right there it comes with an extra large on Suite with custom

Built-ins a beautiful balcony that has breathtaking views of the mountain and an extra large floor Plane off to the third floor we go the third floor is home to a secondary living space so as you can see it’s pretty versatile you can use it as home office to get some extra work done

A lounging space to catch up on that book you’ve been meaning to read and as you can see you’ve got this bookshelf here to get that food for thought and extra reading going the floor opens up onto to three more bedrooms all with their own configurations floor plans on

Sweet bathrooms so depending on what style you’re into what preference you want you get to pick and choose again as you could on the second floor now let’s go see the outdoor space and that’s pretty much the main building before I show you the outdoor amenities and accessory buildings

Provance as you may or may not be aware is full of culture history and great food it’s also got beautiful landscape making it ideal for snowboarding skiing hiking you name it so here is a little taste test of what my sisters and I got up to during our time Here [Applause] We’re here in Exxon pance I hope I said that correctly um we’re basically doing a day trip to see the town and do a bit of shopping obviously and grab a bite to eat first and foremost though is that bite to eat I think we’re going to grab

What coffee and AEL she said it perfectly but yeah yeah it’s just a relaxed day of seeing the SES and the surroundings and spending time with each other you’re in uh one of France’s most Charming cities it’s nestled in the south of France away from the ocean but

Still in the provance it’s got a beautiful cobblestone streets it’s very well known for what’s called cison de which is a sweet almond pastry and the best thing about Exon provance is that it’s small enough that you can get around anywhere by foot so come with me and discover these beautiful Streets you had me at olive oil I’m clearly taste testing um some options here welcome to the store of truffles all things truffles cheese not cheese yet this is all the French French specialty the little Pisser so I obviously didn’t wait a second picked up an almond croissant I mean look at this beauty this is my favorite dessert and um I can just already picture it being absolutely delicious it is extra soft so let me just try and bite into it m just need a Coffee so Doris this is what you’re obsessed with just like I’m obsessed with I’m croissance anything truffle Doris is in on board With a Beau beautiful day again here in the region of provance today my sisters and I have decided to head out to the slopes and do some skiing so once we get there we’re going to plan our day obviously skiing is first and foremost followed by some AIS ski which is my favorite

Part but uh in the meantime enjoy the views on the drive Up Hello we are skiing in the French house with darus here we go she’s just over overtaking me look at her ski like a pro woo so outdoor amenities starting off with this outdoor kitchen I mean who doesn’t love sitting outside eating enjoying the views that surround them

You’ve got this long dining table with a perlara now it is winterized so you can’t uh really see it in its full Glory but I’m sure you can’t imagine it in its most magical State over here we have an outdoor shower a pool as well as a deck overlooking gorgeous gorgeous views the

Area actually starts off with the outdoor shower obviously intended to be the last amenity used as you can imagine you know you use a pool you get a little bit of sweat on while you’re lounging around Under the Sun and you just want to like freshen up clean off before you go

Inside um here is the pool that I mentioned it’s quite large again it’s winterized but as you can imagine in the summer it’s used day and night the sun right now provides the Perfect Exposure for this deck it’s 3:30 p.m. at current state and as you can imagine with the uh

The long hours during the summer this deck hits optimal sunlight during all hours of the day you’ve got multiple lounging areas you’ve got the hot tub in that corner there it really is a place where people can come together and really enjoy the space now underneath this deck is an accessory building it’s

Actually the gym so why don’t we go down there and I’ll show you what that space looks like now you’re probably wondering why there is a gym on a place like this but with so much eating and drinking you probably need to you know move things

Around as you can see it’s a full setup you’ve got the TV at the far end you’ve got the mats multiple equipment racks anything that you need if you need to do yoga if you need to do weights it’s all here you’ve got a a roow machine for a

Bit of cardio but if you do want EXT extra cardio there are copious amounts of land for you to run on so that’s also an option and this way is The Botch ball court so it never hurts to have options in terms of outdoor amenities and activities and

This is another one of them obviously it’s in the perfect position to continue enjoying the afternoon Sunlight and that’s pretty much a magnificent chatau in France’s southern region of provance offering seven beds and eight baths with modern amenities that include a grand dining room a rack room a wine Celler an outdoor pool a hot tub an outdoor shower an outdoor kitchen a gym a bot ball
