Hello friends it’s Jim AER welcome back to Jim aer’s Wacky World today we are headed to Winter Park for breakfast Winter Park is about I would say 30 minutes or so from the major theme parks in Orlando and if you’re looking to get away to a cute little place for a breakfast lunch

Brunch which is primarily what this restaurant is you might want to check out the Brier patch it is on a a very cool little strip uh in in Winter Park that has a lot of um a lot of interesting little little craft stores and book stores and

Things like that that you can just walk through and shop and this is a real cozy little uh little restaurant that makes there’s almost all of their stuff is just made inhouse fresh and it’s really good if you have not heard of the Brier patch take a look at what you can expect

From breakfast marching down this little stretch of stores in Winter Park you’ll see the Brier patch right there in front of us this is a primarily breakfast lunch brunch restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor and you’ll notice when you go inside it’s very busy which is always a good sign at a restaurant that

It’s full and happening and there’s a line of people waiting and yeah this place we’ve been a few times and it’s uh it’s always busy it’s always busy there is a little bar area that you can sit at but there is seating uh inside and and

Outside if you want some fresh air now if we take a quick look at the menu you’ll see there’s a variety of things um Fried Green Tomatoes um oatmeal there’s waffles French toast pancakes uh tortilla sandwiches rice bowls omelets uh various salads uh shrimp sandwiches turkey sandwiches Cod

Sandwiches there are some um specialty handcrafted Burgers just a few of them uh and then there is also an alcohol menu if you want some alcohol and don’t forget the giant cakes yes look at the slices that you get from these cakes they are huge those are huge

Cake slices but anyway we were here for breakfast and started out with a Southwest omelette and this has spicy chizo sausage black beans New Mexican green chilies onions avocado and cheddar cheese and when you crack that open you’ll see it’s nice and moist and juicy

It’s got a very good flavor it could be a little spicier I like mine a little spicier but uh not too bad and there’s some home fries there with it as well this is the raspberry and Brie French toast it is a thick cut European style

Uh um toast with some uh breed cheese some housemade raspberry jam and look at that gooey goodness it is so good that is incredibly good now we tried another omelette as well this is a spinach goat cheese and sausage omelette comes also with some home fries and that’s a

Homemade biscuit right there and notice when we cut it open it’s well prepared but you know it’s a it’s it’s a sausage and spinach omelette nothing super special but it’s okay and then lastly we tried the pecan Brios sticky bun and this was a little dry um it it wasn’t too

Great but it’s just eh so so the the flavor was okay but it was it was very very dry but the winner is the raspberry Bree French toast get it try it you’ll love it there you go that’s a look at breakfast at the Brier patch in Winter
