Today it’s off to the mandals to look at the Domain tempier 2020 bandall Lulu and Lucien now let’s talk about domain tempier domain tempier has 60 hectares of vines that they have broken out into four plots which if you stand in the middle of the vard you can see them all
Around the winery and they going explain why they have those Vines planted where they do the estate Vineyard is only 7 hectares of the whole 60 hectares the winery was established in 1834 but then it was replanted in the 1930s due to fxur damage this wine in particular is
Made from 35 to 40 year old Vines although they do have 50 to 60 year old material on the property it is 75% madra 20% ganach and CSO and 5% sirra and Kon those who are familiar with domain tampier will also notice that the wine is now called Lulu and Lucien it is
Named after the grand parents who revived the winery and in 2017 Lulu would have turned 100 so to honor her they put the name on the bottle and it’ll appear there going forward what a lovely bottle of wine that nose is fantastic pallet super juicy lots of dark fruit luxurious tannin mocha black

Introduced to Bandol over 30 years ago at a time that I was experimenting with different wines from unique countries and terroirs.
Very quickly became one of my favorite wines and still is to this day. Unfortunately it was easier to come across a Bandol back then.
