Take advantage of the GROUPS or INTERESTS section towards the bottom of your LinkedIn profile, which have sections like: Top Voices (Influencers), Companies, Schools, Newsletters, & Interests (like Traveling & French Wine Lovers, to name a few).

These are great ways to connect with people who share the same apssions and curiosity you do, but are also a way to express yourself as a human and not just business only. This compares to the Personal Interests or Extracurriculars section of one’s CV or résumé.

Groups are also a great way to connect with people that you may want to network with.

PRO TIP: joining a group of someone who is not one of your 1st level LinkedIn Contats allows you to message them, without having to pay for LinkedIn Premium.

Using an Admissions Consultant can give you the competitive edge you need in a super competitive MBA admissions cycle. If you’re looking to get into the top-ranked American MBA programs like HBS (Harvard), Stanford, Wharton, Booth, Tuck, Kellogg, Booth, CBS (Columbia), or the top European MBA programs, like INSEAD, HEC Paris, LBS (London), Bocconi (Milan), or IESE (Barcelona), than working with an experienced professional with a proven track record can make the huge difference.

According to research, over 40% of MBA students in top tier programs admit to using admissions consultants, but what about the ones who keep their secret air-tight?? With many schools like Stanford GSB having an acceptance rate of less than 7%, and most applicants getting support from someone who really know what their doing, like an Admissions Consultant, will you be one of the ones who goes it alone?

Are you prepared to take that risk? As a former Director of MBA Recruitment, and #AIGAC Board Member, I know a thing or two about the MBA admissions journey.
