When I moved to France I had the stereotype in Mind French people never work or work very little I thought if I worked for the French company I would legiterally come to the office drinking the coffee on a Terrace before enjoy my 2hour lunch and carelessly leave the
Office at 5:00 grabbing a glass of wine with the a Towerview in the end there are indeed some differences in the War culture between France and many other countries French people do respect L lunch breaks and solid Leisure times and holidays according to the French law we
Have a 35 hours working week and if you work more then you have extra 10 days of the paid leave per year speaking of vacations it’s 5 weeks minimum most French people get from 6 to 10 weeks annual leave depending on their job and where they work and this is on top of
The paid public holidays I realized that a perfect work life balance formula pays for itself I noticed that working less hours does not necessarily mean doing less things on the contrary you’re more productive when you had enough rest French people prioritize quality over quantity and it brings better results
And in the end we work to live not live to work do you agree
