  1. Excellent presentation, concise and to the point, no chit chat or annoying music – looks great for a winters day

  2. Thank you! We made this in Kigali! When I've made it before, we just threw the wine, fruit and spices in and heated it, but that first step of dissolving the sugar before adding the rest of the wine makes a huge difference. It tastes really good.

  3. I know woke agenda is getting a little crazy but how did Jamie Oliver turn black? that must have taken some painful operations. do you think they got the dick right?

  4. I attempted similiar to this recipe by using the spices but forgetting the fruits. I added 300g of sugar to 2 bottles and after simmering at medium for a hour, I was left with just over a bottle of the wine which tasted nicely spiced but dry in a way even though I used whole spices. Should I dilute with a little bit of water? Or is there a better way to make it smoother tasting?

Edit: Spices I used were a few cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks and the nutmeg which I ground fine.

  5. Yummmm making this! But instead of sugar I will use maple syrup I think as my sweetener. I haven’t decided yet between honey or maple syrup! This looks sooooo magical. Cannot wait to make and serve to my guests.

  6. I made this at the Christmas party and my boss told me that it was the best mulled wine he’s ever had. Thank you so much for the great recipe!!

  7. I made this fantastic mulled wine with honey instead of sugar. Its absolutely delicious! Best I ever had. Thank you greatly!
