French Blueberry Clafoutis is a tasty Winter or Fall dessert.
Ingredients:
450g Blueberries
20g Butter (for coating baking dish)
40g sugar (for coating baking dish)
4 Large Eggs
60g sugar
30g (about 2 big tbsp) Vanilla Bean Paste
50g Butter melted and room temp
60g whole wheat flour
1 Very Heavy Pinch Salt
250ml heavy cream
Preheat oven to 325F or 160C and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until risen, browned on the edges, and the middle of the clafoutis is not sagging. Insert a chopstick or knife into the middle to see if it comes out clean to check for doneness.
French cfu tea is one of my favorite winter desserts I’m using a kitchen scale here to save on dishes and cleanup and you should try it too if you have one that dark stuff I just poured is homemade vanilla bean paste and you can see a previous video of how I made that
It makes a world of difference in this Dish coating our baking dish with butter and sugar gives an incredible caramel crackly crust that you just can’t beat traditionally a French cloth with tea is made with cherries but you can use any fruit and fruitberries are a wonderful substitute take a knife or Chopstick put
It right in the middle if it comes out clean it’s done and that’s why

That looks amazing. The blueberries seems like a perfect substitute.
