RECIPE

Ingredients:
– 8oz block full fat cream cheese
– 1/2 cup full fat sour cream
– 1/2 cup cooked smokey bacon, chopped
– 2-3 stalks of green onions, chopped
– 1-2 cups of aged Gouda, shredded
– 1/2 lemon, juiced
– freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
– Mix all ingredients in a bowl, save some cheese for the topping. You can also mix directly in a baking dish if you’re as lazy as me.
– Bake at 375 F for ~15-20 minutes (until hot and bubbly). Remove from oven, top with more cheese and broil on high for approx 2-3 minutes (or until golden and bubbly).
– Let it cool a bit so you don’t burn your tongue like I did!! Serve with fresh, soft and flaky French bread
