Winemaker Gilles Gelin said the wine brought a bit of joy in an otherwise dreary time.
“We are in a sad month amid a difficult economy right now and therefore this little moment of Beaujolais Nouveau is bringing us a little conviviality, a bit of sunshine during this sad November,” he said.
