Is le petit chef merely a mimic?
At Le Petit Chef, a unique dining adventure awaits, blending art and cuisine. This special dinner takes place at le grand bistro, which also serves a french menu for lunch.
Artists from Skullmapping bring your table to life with custom 3D animations. As you dine, a mini-show unfolds on your plate before each course, a bit like having a tiny chef as your dinner entertainment. It’s a fun experience that might appeal to children. Food is great.
The four-course meal is artfully choreographed to complement the animations. While opinions about the animations may vary, the food is plenty and satisfying. The meal includes a 4-course menu synchronized with the animation. You can also choose the alternative menu available, although it doesn’t align with the storytelling aspect.
For starters, we had the slow-roasted Tomato tart with feta, a savory delight, and the refreshing SALMON GAZPACHO. The second course offered a choice between Poached shrimp and Cucumber salad, a light and flavorful option, or a roasted beet with BURRATA salad, a blend of earthy and creamy goodness.
For our entrees, we enjoyed the Braised short rib of beef, a tender and hearty choice, and the branzino with asparagus, a great seafood choice. To round off our meal, we had the Strawberry Chantilly napoleon, a sweet and fruity treat. The alternate menu offers a rich Chocolate caramel ganache for dessert.
Le Petit Chef provides an entertaining and somewhat novel dining experience, but we recommend it as a one-time adventure.
Le Grand Bistro captures the essence of a bustling French boulangerie-patisserie through its sights, scents, and ambiance. You can choose your seating preference, from the planter-edged sidewalk to the inner café with stunning views of the sea.
During the day, when Le petit chef dinner is not happening, le grand bistro is a great place to have lunch. Ours consisted of a goat cheese crepe and a splendid LOBSTER BISQUE. As a main course, we had a TRUFFLE BURGER with potato buns and Parmesan French Fries. Our party also shared a CHEESE and CHARCUTERIE plate.
Raw on 5 is a Japanese restaurant specializing in sushi, sashimi, noodle bowls, and seafood towers. You can either order a la carte or choose a specialty dining package that provides you with dining credits.

Is Le Voyage the best restaurant at sea? Find out if it’s worth the high price.
World-renowned chef Daniel Boulud’s first signature restaurant at sea, Le Voyage, offers a unique culinary journey inspired by global flavors. The restaurant boasts an intimate and upscale ambiance, with soft tones, private areas, and a stunning entryway. It sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience.
Reservations for this 50-seat venue are highly recommended before your cruise. While the six-course tasting menu with optional wine pairings is a tempting choice, the regular dining experience is equally special and less expensive.
We began our meal with a delightful selection of appetizers. The King Crab Salad featured soft crab meat with radish and mango. The Balik Smoked Salmon, a true delicacy, showcased the rich and smoky essence of the salmon, while the raw tuna with black olives provided a refreshing and savory start to our meal. An Onion Tart with decadent Sabayon sauce offered a delightful combination of sweet and savory notes, making it a standout choice among the appetizers.
For our main courses, we tried a velvety Risotto with lobster. The chicken dish with morel mushrooms provided a savory and earthy flavor profile. The 5-Spice Duck Pithivier offered a combination of aromatic spices, with tender duck filling in a flaky pastry. Our party also had The Black Angus Filet Mignon, a classic favorite, prepared to perfection, and the lamb chops, served with eggplant.
