It was Market Day in Annecy and we went to buy some food for our lunch because it was the wedding anniversary of my sister and brother-in-law and had some coffee and croissant for breakfast in the market. We met a Filipino-French guy whose mother is from Cebu in the Philippines but he grew up in France and lives in Annecy.
After our seafood lunch of baked salmon, garlic butter prawns, mussels in white wine and chanterelle mushrooms and boiled potatoes, we went to the other side of Lake Annecy in a place called Talloires for a beautiful view of the lake.
In the evening, we had our first ever dinner of cheese fondue. It was a dinner to remember, full of fun and laughter.
