The holidays are a special time for pastry chefs in France. In Paris, luxury brand “Fauchon house” is busy creating a gourmet pastry collection just for the holidays. Our france correspondent went to Fauchon’s kitchen to see the magic behind the sweet treats.
There are two things françois daubinet never stops doing : creating and traveling.
He’s the brain behind all pastries recipes of Fauchon’s luxury brand, and one ambassador of french excellence across the world.
This is Fauchon’s headquarters, founded 133 years ago at place de la madeleine.
The chef doesn’t call this place a kitchen, but a laboratory. But there’s no chemical experiments being done here, only fresh ingredients.
