Once considered the staple wine for summers day dining, rosé wine is quickly becoming the wine for all seasons; thanks to the wide range of grape varieties and the fact it’s produced all around the world. If you know your Pinot Noir from your Pinot Gris and your Syrah from Grenache; you’ll know that although the wines all seem to have the same pink-tinged hue, the taste can vary tremendously. Like all wines, some are perfect for sipping slowly with light bites, where heavier varieties might only be considered a match for food pairing. England is still considered fairly new territory for wine makers, so it’s always nice to see another English wine on the market.
