Left Monaco took the train to Cannes took a nap and went to the movies to see Ticket to Paradise at Olympia movie theater in Cannes, walked the Croissette in the morning almost missed my train back to Paris. Got to Paris that night and woke up the next morning had steak frites and cheap red wine in a noisy bistro and spent the next 16 hours flanuering aimlessly around Saint-Germain-des-Prés and near the glittering Seine and had my photo taken on film by a nice french couple and stood in line in the freezing cold to see a Jazz show at the famous Le Duc des Lombards before catching my flight back to America absolutely exhausted in squalor but inspired nonetheless.
