Trans Euro Trail France (T.E.T. France) section 14, 13, 22.
Compilation of our TET Off-Road adventure with our heavy adv motorcycles BMW R 1250 GSA & KTM 1290 SAS.
We picked in on TET France Section 14 closest point to the Belgian border, near La Gruerie, to follow 14 to TET France Section 13 and later to TET France Section 22, with as final destination Lac de Croiselet.
TET France Section 14 started with the river crossings and mud in the Ardennes forrest. It was very adventerous with our heavy adventure bikes. Then riding under the Belgian border to Metz & Nancy, over gravel roads & fields alternating with asphalt roads and along Fort Villy-la-Ferté, a part of the Maginot Line (a line of fortifications built in the 30’s to deter a German invasion).
On our way, we passed by Citadelle de Montmédy, wich has an impressive entrance, we stopped there for lunch.
Riding the nice off-road tracks, alternated by asphalt roads and forest paths, we came to TET France Section 13. Riding through the west part of the Vosges. Riding through Vittel, and over an acient track build by the Romans, continuing to the South, to TET France Section 22, were we rode through the winefield paths and entered the Jura and reached our destination Lac de Coiselet.
We rode for 5 days, around 1000km’s. Around 17u each evening, we started looking for a camping for the overnight.

* The forest in the Ardennes (regio Charleville-Mézières) with river crossings and mud. (We rode through the forest to avoid the endless mud in front of us)

Compilation de notre aventure TET Off-Road avec nos motos lourdes adv BMW R 1250 GSA & KTM 1290 SAS.
Nous avons choisi le TET France Section 14 point le plus proche de la frontière belge, près de La Gruerie, pour suivre la 14 jusqu’au TET France Section 13 et plus tard jusqu’au TET France Section 22, avec comme destination finale le Lac de Croiselet.
TET France La section 14 a commencé avec les traversées de rivières et la boue dans la forêt des Ardennes. Puis à cheval sous la frontière belge jusqu’à Metz et Nancy, sur des routes de gravier et des champs alternant avec des routes asphaltées et le long de Fort Villy-la-Ferté, une partie de la ligne Maginot (une ligne de fortifications construite dans les années 30 pour dissuader une invasion allemande) .
En chemin, nous sommes passés par la Citadelle de Montmédy, qui a une entrée impressionnante, nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner.
En parcourant les belles pistes tout-terrain, alternées par des routes goudronnées et des chemins forestiers, nous sommes arrivés au TET France Section 13. Traversant la partie ouest des Vosges. Traversant Vittel et sur une ancienne piste construite par les Romains, en continuant vers le sud, jusqu’à la section 22 du TET France, nous avons traversé les sentiers viticoles et sommes entrés dans le Jura et avons atteint notre destination, le lac de Coiselet.
