In Marseille looting and vandalism have been seen in the country’s second-biggest city following the death of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk, who was shot by police during a traffic stop in a Paris suburb a week ago.
Sky’s Europe correspondent Siobhan Robbins has been to the so-called “cites” on the edges of Marseille, where families are cramped into tiny flats and drugs provide a steady income.
