Today on the premier of The Crusader Kitchen we’re going to smoke chicken lollipops at the campsite with the Traeger Ranger portable grill!
Grocery List:
Chicken Lollipops (there were 16 in my box from @GoodRanchers)
Salt & Pepper (2:1 course kosher salt and pepper)
Instructions:
1) Season chicken with salt & pepper in a pan, make sure to have proper coverage!
2) Let stand in fridge for 1-3 hours
3) Preheat smoker to 225°
4) Set chicken in smoker evenly spaced, or as necessary
5) Let smoke for 90 minutes, this is only an estimate – cook to temp; not to time
6) After 90 minutes check several pieces of chicken with an instant read thermometer
7) Once chicken has reached 175-185 remove into something to serve from
8) Enjoy!
I made some biscuits to serve with these but I didn’t film it because it was my first time making them in the dutch oven, more on that later!
