Designer Jessica Kelly doesn’t mind the 5-minute boat ride from the marina to her island cottage on Stoney Lake. “Once you get here you don’t look back.” The main loft-style cottage has an open, relaxed feel with white panelled walls, a farmhouse-style dining table and vintage accents. A boathouse at the edge of the water is a favorite spot for taking in lake views and enjoying a cup of coffee, while weekend guests are welcome to stay in the “honeymoon suite” bunkie.
