Hello. My name is Jonathan and welcome to Wine Wednesdays.
This week, we have a beautiful red wine,
a Vendimia Seleccionada, which means from select grapes and select plots,
the, the best plots, and by La Capilla ,
and it’s a Ribera Del Duero. Let’s try this together.
So really dark fruit on the nose,
black current, blackberry, and lots of vanilla too;
15 months in French oak.
Really intense, again
lots of dark fruit, quite juicy in its profile.
And it’s actually quite elegant given its 15% ABV.
Given the intensity of this wine, it’d be really good with things like short beef ribs,
or salty blue cheeses, and it’s £29.99 from Cheers.
