There are over 50 Viking longships sailing the rivers of the world. Recently, the Princess and I were invited to attend the Viking River Cruises’ naming ceremony for its seven brand new river cruise ships.
As part of that event, we completed a three-day mini cruise onboard the brand new Viking longship, Viking Einar. We are now back and have a lot to report from our first ever river cruise.
We have put everything together from this abbreviated Rhine River cruise in our latest video with our Viking River Cruise review and longship tour.
No matter which vessel you choose to sail in the fleet, all Viking longships have the same layout and setup. This enables the cruise line to deliver a reliable cruise experience no matter what part of the world that the ship is cruising.
Our Viking River Cruise longship tour and review goes deck-by-deck outlining all of the public amenities and features of these elegant and efficiently designed ships. We also give our feedback on food, cabins, time ashore, and more.
