Jasper has been a Master of Wine since 1985, just a few years after he created the successful specialist wine import business Morris & Verdin. The company he founded was later acquired by Berry Bros & Rudd and in 2003, he was appointed its buying director. In May 2008, together with colleagues at BBR, Jasper published “The Future of Wine Report,” speculating on the state of the wine industry over the coming 50 years. After he retired from the trade, he embarked on a new career as a Burgundy expert. He is the awarded author of ‘The White Wines of Burgundy’ and ‘Inside Burgundy’, and was appointed as Senior Consultant for Christie’s annual Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction. In 2018, Jasper launched the website Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy which is the go-to website for all Burgundy enthusiasts.
