The Los Americanos festival is home at last, with the Magical Modernist Mansion at the centre of it all! Flush with excitement, we take you to the best bits of this huge celebration starting at a romantic castle with surprising stories. We quickly buy ingredients for lunch from the themed market with local producers selling the finest produce, from buffalo cheese to giant olives and then on to so many different events, from chocolate and wine, music and dancing, to burnt rum and habaneras! There’s vibrant array of artisans from potters to weavers to glass blowers. All under the beautiful backdrop of elegant costumes, impromptu street theatre and streets decorated with lace parasols and palm fronds.
