Have you ever stayed in a castle or chateau 🏰
🗣️Staying in a Chateau is one of the things in my bucket list and I’m glad I was able to cross it off last weekend 🥰
It definitely made me feel like a princess 😆 AND YES, I Belle ( Beauty and the Beast) is my inspiration for my look 😆 Because why not?
📍 CHATEAU FOMBRAUGE, Saint-Emilion, France 🇫🇷
📚 I booked our room through @bookingcom and chose the Suite “Cadran” for 1 night.
👶🏻 We requested a baby cot but we still used our baby’s mattress because it was firmer.
🧺 We prepared a picnic basket and ate it at the chateau’s garden. We saw other guests do the same.
🍷 A wine tour was included in our room fee, so we just booked 7 days before our trip.
Basically the tour is about the chateau’s history, the wine that they produce, and at the end we tasted some wine.
🍱 Breakfast (buffet style) is included but dinner wasn’t, hence we ate out at Saint-Emilion.
🍇 Before our breakfast, Husband and I took the opportunity to walk around the chateau and enjoyed the vineyard scenery. We even saw some workers taking care of the vineyard.
