Colmar Tropicale, which first opened its doors in 2000, is modeled after Colmar, a town from the 16th century in Alsace, France. It also incorporates architectural styles and aspects from the old neighboring villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim, and Kaysersberg. The creation of this French-themed village was inspired by Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, the fourth prime minister of Malaysia, who was so moved by his visit to the Alsace region that he encouraged Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad, to build a replica of the town of Colmar in Malaysia.

The resort has 235 rooms and suites along with 5 dining establishments that serve a variety of regional and international cuisine. The resort has meeting spaces and banqueting amenities as well.

Please be advised that Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills does not permit the flying of drones or the presence of pets.
