When people come to visit me in the Hunter electorate, they get to see we do everything BIG here in the Hunter.
I had the pleasure of hosting the French Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Mr Jean-Pierre Thebault France in Australia – Ambassade de France en Australie for a few days in the Hunter.
We did some BIG things in the Upper Hunter.
No visit is complete without a BIG burger and I treated the Ambassador to a works burger from the one and only Happy Grillmores.
We spent some time with the team from BHP’s Mount Arthur mine site where the Ambassador got to see mining on a BIG scale and took a drive in one of their BIG trucks.
The Ambassador shared a meal and some of the best wines in the world with the BIG hitters in the Hunter wine industry.

We finished up the tour of the Upper Hunter, Mines, Wines and Equines with a tour of Coolmore Australia at Jerry’s Plains.
