In this video, Wesley Cable, introduces a new feature called “Tonight’s Wine,” where he talks about a new wine and its winery. He introduces “Kit’s Killer Cabernet” from Cliff Family Winery in St. Helena, California, and shares his thoughts on this 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon.
The wine comes from two vineyards, Cold Springs and Croquet, and has an oak aging of 20 months in 70% new French oak. With notes of dark fruits, specifically black cherry, and hints of vanilla, the wine is praised as “great” and “Kit’s killer.”
As a bonus, the head winemaker at Cliff Family Winery, Laura Barrett, will be interviewed on the podcast and discuss the winery’s sustainability efforts and food production that can be purchased with wine club purchases.
Join the interview live on the @obsessedwithwinepodcast YouTube channel and Facebook Live and have a chance to ask questions. Tune in to discover more amazing wines on the Obsessed with Wine podcast.
