1 large onion, sliced into rings
3 clove of garlic, minced
1 tbsp each of butter and olive oil
1 14-ounce can of beef broth
1 can Campbell’s French Onion Soup
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/4 tsp black pepper
Garlic powder
2 packages of sliced roast beef
some hearty buns
Provolone or Swiss slices
– Cook onions and garlic in hot oil and butter until tender
– Stir in broth, soup, marjoram and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
– Prepare rolls with butter, garlic powder and cheese
– Preheat oven to 350
– Add beef to pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Place rolls in oven.
– Serve beef and onions on rolls with a side of au jus from pan for dipping. Enjoy!
