Can you imagine a French toast that is moist custardy inside with a caramelised crusty outside?
-This is my easy French toast recipe that my kids love and friends keep asking the recipe for!

recipe & tips:
-it looks like a lot of liquid, but just trust the process, leave it overnight and the thick toast will absorb all the milk and cream and becomes custardy.
-Make sure to use low heat to cook each side for 5 minutes to fully set the custard centre, use the lid to help. BE PATIENT!
-use butter and sugar to caramelise the outside until its golden and crusty

ingredients:
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
100 ml milk
100 ml whipping cream
vanilla extract 1 tsp
2 extra thick slices of bread
butter 2 tbsp (1 tbsp for each slice)
sugar 2 tbsp (1 tbsp for each slice)
