French Dip Sandwich x French Onion Soup.
A collision of two dishes with a similar theme to create huge flavours! I use leftover roast beef for the sandwich but it’s good enough to just roast some beef for!
This makes enough soup/dip for 3 or 4 people
3 large onions
1 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves
2 bay leaves
1 tsp thyme
150ml white wine
1 litre beef stock
Salt/Pepper
This is what you’ll need per sandwich
1 large onion
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp thyme
2 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tbsp dark soy
Crusty French Bread
1 tbsp butter
Slices of Roast Beef
Swiss cheese
