Some wineries also hold their bottled red wine for extended aging before being released. Two – three years is not uncommon. White wines are typically released one to two years after harvest.
But the fastest vineyard-to-glass wine is typically the French Beaujolais Nouveau released in November each year right after harvest, fermentation and bottling. Meh…
