How to prepare grilled potatoes in the oven ? Or even better how to prepare a french Gratin Dauphinois ?

Hey there fellow food lovers!

Today, I want to share with you one of my all-time favorite comfort foods – Gratin Dauphinois. This dish hails from the Dauphiné region in France and is a staple in French cuisine. But what sets this gratin apart from others is that it’s made without any cheese!

Now, I know what you’re thinking – how can a gratin be good without cheese? Trust me, this dish is so flavorful and rich, you won’t even miss the cheese. It’s made with just a few simple ingredients, including potatoes, cream, milk, garlic, and a pinch of nutmeg, which create a creamy and indulgent dish that’s perfect for any occasion.
To start, you’ll want to thinly slice the potatoes and arrange them in a baking dish. Next, add in the cream, minced garlic, and nutmeg, and give it all a good stir to ensure that the ingredients are well combined.

Bake the gratin in the oven for about an hour and a half or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.

So tell me the truth, do you add cheese into it or not ?
