French wine and spirits exports generated a record turnover of 17.2 billion euros in 2022, driven by inflation and the appetite for these products abroad, the Federation of Wine and Spirits Exporters (FEVS) announced Tuesday. This record is driven by the increase in selling prices per bottle, while volumes sold have fallen. Health authorities have stepped up their health warning regarding wine in recent years.
