There are three major types of bubbles. There is the Charmat method, the cheaper method in which bubbles are injected into the wine. There is the Ancient method in which the wine continues to ferment in the bottle, creating carbonation naturally. The final method is the traditional method, which is the gold standard for crafting sparkling wines.
