COAST’S has reached two year anniversary, for those who are new to COAST, it is a contemporary coastal cuisine restaurant that combines French and Thai cooking styles and is located at Taipei Regent Hotel on the B2 level in 2020.
It is also the first in Taipei to give guests a new Contemporary coastal cuisine (Modern Coastal Cuisine), focusing on the presentation of fresh and sweet ingredients.
COAST selects Taiwanese seasonal seafood, using French cuisine cooking techniques, blending classic Thai cuisine spice combinations and flavors, presenting a novel and modern dining experience.
To ensure that the materials used are the highest high-quality ingredients, the chef personally selects the ingredients from the place of origin, and changes the menu seasonally, bringing guests an unparalleled coastal feast.
Headed by Ian Kittichai, a renowned, award-winning chef in Thailand, this special menu alongside the owner of COAST Richie Lin, to create one of the most magnificent magical menu you can find in Taipei.
Inside COAST, the dining room feels like visiting someone’s home, spacious and the staff were extremely inviting and welcoming.
Chef Ian is famous for interpreting classic Thai flavors with diverse and trendy cooking techniques, while Chef Richie is good at exploring the flavors and elements of different local ingredients.

Each individual dish was mind-blowing, the sauces and spices used were intricately designed for your palate, mine favourite was the curry bisque sauce and the scallop with larb salad. The sauce is yellow bell pepper seafood sauce, topped with chili oil and coriander oil, with acidity, sweetness and spicy. Please view this reel for all the menu contents.
