Shorts Script
Tonight, we’re making a recipe from France. Poulet Avec Marchand Du Vin, chicken with mushrooms and red wine sauce.
You’ll need
2 Butterflied Chicken Breasts¬¬
4 Tablespoons of Butter
2 Shallots Chopped
4 Oz of Sliced Mushrooms
4 Cloves of Chopped Garlic
4 Slices of Swiss Cheese
4 oz of Gouda Cheese
1 Cup of Burgundy Wine
2 Oz Lemon Juice
8 Oz of Sour Cream
1 Cup of Chicken Stock
Season two butterflied chicken breasts with salt & pepper and pan sear them for five minutes per side Place them in the oven on warm Add butter, shallots, and mushrooms to the pan and saute for 10 minutes and remove to a bowl. Add red wine, chicken stock, lemon juice and sour cream to the pan and reduce by half. Top the chicken breasts with the shallots and mushrooms and add grated gouda and sliced Swiss cheese, bake in the oven for 10 minutes then top with the red wine sauce and you’re ready to serve.
