Today I’m demonstrating how to make a special version of The Rock’s French Toast Recipe. The special element is that it has a custard filling and I’m using almond slices infused with Teremana Reposado tequila to give it an extra special flavor. Finally, I topped it off with The Rock’s renowned tequila-infused whipped cream.
CUSTARD INGREDIENTS
• 350 ml Whole Milk
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1/3 tsp butter
• 1 egg
• 25 grams sugar
• 1 tbsp Cornstarch
TEQUILA INFUSED ALMOND SLICES INGREDIENTS
• 150 grams Almond
• 40 grams Powdered Sugar
• 1 Egg White
• Teremana Reposado (enough to cover the almonds)
ROCK’S FRENCH TOAST INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup Buttermilk
• 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
• 1 Egg
• 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
• 1/2 tsp Grated Nutmeg
TEQUILA INFUSED WHIPPED CREAM INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup Whipped cream
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
• 20 grams Teremana Reposado Tequila
