The first tip is about how to decorate your entryway. We met we Steph from @ohsorented in London and she gave us entryway decorating ideas for rentals. She explained that she brought in colors because she couldn’t touch the white walls.
For the second decor hack, we went back to the New York Apartment tour in queens. Ann walked us through her favorite brands to create her mid century modern aesthetic. She used a lot of vintage furniture and she also spoke about openbox websites.
The third tip from the Apartment Tour Series is on how to furnish a Living Room. In Steph’s case she took great care to think of what colors to use for her living room decor.
Something I was actually curious about was what was the best record player for beginners. Ann explained that audio electronics was a great place to start.
With Samir, in his Parisian apartment tour we got tips on his favorite French pharmacy products.
Ann’s bathroom design is very efficient. Her bathroom decorating ideas revolve around using a small space to the best of her abilities.
Samir shared his bedroom decorating ideas with us in the next apartment tour tip. Basically, he decorated his dresser with a few of his favorite things, such as a plant, a prince and candles. He also spoke about how much he loved his new bedroom decor.
Ann’s bedroom aesthetic might be my favorite of this apartment tour series. She explained that a lot of what she has in her bedroom comes from thrift stores and vintage shopping. One of the stand out bedroom decor is the dresser she bought from craigslist for $150.
Steph’s bedroom is an ode to softness. She continued the theme she created in her living room decor. The idea was to bring soft colors, but also soft materials like linen. She also wanted to create a space that kind of felt like a hotel.
Steph also shared her favorite tips for bedroom rental style. She recommends using furniture that can also double as storage. The idea is to create spaces that are not only beautiful to look at, but can also store a lot of things in the bedroom.
Living in a small studio apartment can be tricky. However, Léna made it work really well. One of the spaces she loves the most is her dining nook. Earlier on my channel I made a video on how to create a dining room in a small apartment. I feel like on this subject Léna and I agree. It’s about finding the right table and beautiful chairs, picking colors that will complement the overall decor of your small apartment.
This next step focuses on tableware. Having tableware can make boring tasks, such as setting the table one of the most fun moments according to Steph.
In her kitchen Ann decided to make her fridge one of the focus points. Kitchen home decor can be a bit tricky since sometimes the kitchen is too small or not to our liking. This tip is easy to follow and share to make a difference.
We are now back with Léna who is sharing some of her favorite tips for tableware. She explains that she loves a French store called MONOPRIX because they do Collabs with small designers. She loves the tableware created from these collaborations. However, more generally, she likes and advises to shop at vintage stores and shops.
For this final tip, we are back in London apartment work. Steph gives us a few hacks and tips for a kitchen rental makeover. One of the biggest tip for kitchen decorating is to change the tiles. Steph used a DIY with vinyl paper. She also looked for, kitchen appliances in colors that complemented the kitchen instead of the neutral ones we usually gravitate towards.
The last part of these tips and home decor ideas focuses on what it means to be at home. I feel like when you have an answer to this question it will be easier to know which tip to apply.

I hope you enjoy this video !
