Reviewing and tasting a 2020 Source of Joy Rose from Gerard Bertrand family of wines. This Rose is made in Languedoc, France and has a bit higher alcohol content than we’ve seen from most other Roses (14.0%). Beautiful salmon color and has a thicker, almost buttery texture and nose of melon. Primary flavors of dried strawberry and red fruits with lesser notes of honeysuckle. Slight tannins are present and the sweetness level is safe. Nice and safe Rose, would definitely recommend. Bought from Co-op Saskatoon for $35 over the Christmas Holidays.
