French Onion Soup, LOAF! Definitely one of the tastiest things I’ve ever made! Recipe below👇🏻
INGREDIENTS
4 cups of sliced onions
1/4 cup of salted butter
1 tbsp fresh thyme
3 minced cloves of garlic
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp beef bouillon (Better than Bouillon)
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 large French Bread Loaf
1 cup of grated Gruyere, Swiss, Mozzarella
1 tsp fresh thyme
Step 1
Melt the butter on a medium pan and add the onions. Continue to cook for about 5 minutes or just until they start to soften. Add the thyme, garlic, salt, pepper and sugar and continue to cook until a darker brown color forms.
Step 2
Add the better than bouillon, and white wine and continue to cook until a dark brown color forms.
Step 3
Slice the bread in half and add the onion mixture onto each piece. In a separate bowl, combine the 3 cheeses and then add it on top of the onion mixture. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, or just until the cheese is melted, bubbly and browned. Garnish with the remaining fresh thyme.
