Protein French Toast

INGREDIENTS:
4 slices Royo Bread Low Carb Bread – € Use the code

1 egg
30 grams vanilla protein powder – I used the @prozis natural vanilla whey isolate ( * Code KATIE10 for 10% off
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat a large skillet with a little bit of butter or nonstick spray over medium heat. Whisk all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Drench each slice of bread generously in the protein egg mixture. Place each slice in your preheated skillet and cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Top with sugar free syrup of choice and enjoy!

**My homemade berry syrup is just frozen berries cooked over the stove with 1 tbsp lemon juice & 1 tbsp sugar free maple syrup

Makes 4 slices. Serving size = 2 slices
