Located in the award-winning 100 Liverpool Street, Revolve is a lively, modern brasserie draws inspiration from the much-loved brasseries of Paris and New York.
The menu is largely French-influenced but makes use of British produce and is full with solid versions of classic dishes. The steak tartare was packed with capers and topped with a perfect orange yolk, and served with mini sourdough toasts for scooping. Definitely recommended. My main was chargrilled ribeye (10 oz grass-fed British beef, tomato confit & caramelised onion) and delivered everything I would want – a good-sized steak, cooked as ordered, a tasty blue cheese sauce and some Koffman fries on the side. So yummy.
The interior is less haughty, more homely despite the chaotic location, the dining room feels tranquil – more laidback neighbourhood hangout than City staple.
The food, service and décor makes Revolve the perfect option for any occasion in the heart of the City.
