For this Pinot Noir small patches were selected from vineyards in the Pipers River area. Each block has different clones and different aspects adding their own strengths and complexity to the final blend.
Each of the parcels were picked separately on their merit. The wine was placed into french barriques from which 1/4 was new and stayed their for 11 month’s.
A full bodied Pinot Noir with ripe and supple red and blue fruits. Ripe black cherries, raspberries and plums can be found next to chocolate, nougat and spices.
The Pinot has a long and fruit driven finish.
