Vanessa Michel is a French paranormal investigator, TV personality, and adventurer who also owns the paranormal tourism company Les Voyage Extraordinaires, where she takes visitors on a unique exploration into France’s paranormal epicenter, the Perigord Noir in the South of France. In this Talking Strange, she discusses the ghosts of Disneyland Paris, and her goal to show American tourists areas they rarely visit. Vanessa and Aaron Sagers (Netflix’s 28 Days Haunted; Discovery+/Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera) discusses leading tourists into the black forest of France, home to the infamous cryptid tale of the Beast of Gevaudan — which is historically documented, and some believe it was either a cryptid or a serial killer that claimed 500 lives. Additionally, Perigord Noir is where French witches pursued their magick, and where fairies and trolls dwell (and has prehistoric caves comeplete with paintings, that she’ll likewise tour). In the nearby medieval village of Sarlat, there is the Château de Puymartin, haunted by a famous White Lady, where attendees will dine and conduct a paranormal investigation. Finally, there will be much tasting in a region known for its wine.
