French Onion Soup Rings. These are low carb and keto friendly-ish! Recipe below (makes 6)👇🏻🔥🔥
INGREDIENTS
3 thinly sliced onions
1/4 cup salted butter
4 sprigs of fresh thyme
2 chopped cloves of garlic
1/2 cup white wine
1 tbsp Better than Bouillon Beef Stock concentrate
1 cup grated Gruyere, Swiss and Parmesan cheese (each)
For the dipping sauce
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp onion powder and onion flakes
1 tsp malted vinegar
Step 1
Melt the butter in a saucepan or pot and add the onions and sauté them for a few minutes.
Step 2
Add the garlic, thyme and season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for about 20 minutes
Step 3
Add the bouillon and mix well, then mix in the white wine. Continue to cook until the white cooks off and the onions are no longer wet. Set aside
Step 4
Mix together the cheese and add about 1/4 to the base of a baking donut tray (easily found on Amazon).
Step 5
Add some of the onion mixture on top and then some more cheese. Bake at 400 degrees F for about 20-25 minutes
Step 6
For the dipping sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl.
