A TASTY SUMMERTIME DISH TO BAKE IN THE OVEN OR ON YOUR BBQ, WITH A FRESH FLAVORFUL PIEDMONTESE SALAD. Easy step by step cooking
INGREDIENTS: 4 persons
1 chicken
1 salad (lettuce or one of your choices)
PIEDMONTESE SALAD:
4 big potatoes (firm)
4 big tomatoes
1 sweet pepper
5 eggs
¼ cup ham cubes
¼ cup sliced pickles
½ tbsp chiseled tarragon
½ tbsp chiseled coriander
1 ½ tbsp chiseled of parsley
1 tbsp of sharp mustard
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup yoghurt (Greek or Bulgarian)
½ lime (juice)
½ tbsp sugar
Salt and pepper
ROASTED & GROUND SPICE-BLEND:
1 tbsp allspice berries
½ tbsp black pepper corn
½ tbsp white pepper corn
½ tbsp green pepper corn
1 tbsp coriander seed
1 ½ tbsp sesame seed
½ tbsp cumin seed
1 tbsp black mustard seed
4 cloves
MARINADE:
1 lime
2 inches of ginger root
½ bunch of parsley (with stems)
1 sweet pepper
1 onion
6 garlic cloves
1 ½ tbsp ground spice blend
½ tbsp curcuma
1 tbsp smoked paprika powder
1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
1 glass of white wine
1 glass of water
¼ cup sugar
1 ½ tbsp salt
SAUCE:
½ cup marinade
½ cup tomato pulp
5 fl oz whisky
1 tsp white pepper powder
¼ cup sugar
1 tbsp ground spice blend
