This week it is a recipe for lime macarons using French meringue. This is really a follow up from my lemon macaron with Italian meringue recipe from a year ago.
The citrus flavours works really well with the white chocolate and sweet macaron shells. These are also easier to make than the italian macarons so definitely one to try!
For the white chocolate lime ganache filling:
100ml Double Cream
200g White Chocolate
1 Lime
5ml Lime extract(optional)
For the macaron shells:
125g Almond Flour
200g Icing Sugar
125g Egg Whites
50g Caster Sugar
