The “Tullamore D.E.W. Rouge” is the combination of French Bordeaux red wine and Irish whiskey. Initially aged for 13 years in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry barrels, it was finished for a certain time in French ex-Pomerol Bordeaux wine barrels – hence its epithet “Rouge”.
