Homemade French baguette 🥖 rolls:
Ingredients:
Bread flour 700 g
Water 462 g
Salt 14 g
Active dry yeast 9 g
Sugar 4 g
Process:
Mix 62g of water with the active dry yeast and sugar. Let it rest for 5 minutes until is nice and bubbly.
In the mixing bowl add the flour, rest of the water and salt. Using a hook mix the ingredients for 5 minutes. Add the mixture of bubbly yeast. Mix the dough on medium speed for 6 to 8 minutes.
To proof the dough add it into a bowl with a little bit of oil, cover it with a cloth and let it proof in a warm space for 55 minutes, after this time, fold it and let it proof for another 55 minutes, repite the process 3 times.
Weigh the dough and divide into portions of 60g. Roll them and give them a long shape. Let it rise for 1 hour in a warm area. Preheat the oven at 210C. Spray the rolls with water and add sesame seeds. Bake them at 205C for 15 minutes. Depending on your oven this time will fluctuate. Enjoy your warm and crispy French baguette rolls. Bon appetite.
