2014 Baer Winery Arctos Stillwater Creek Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Another wine from one of our favorite wineries in Washington!
This is nearly 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the familiar Stillwater Creek Vineyards. The grapes are hand picked and hand sorted to make sure nothing but the best of the best are put into this wine. It is aged for almost 2 years in mainly New French Oak Barrels and after all is said and done, only 549 cases were produced of the 2014.
The wine is massively full bodied, but ready to drink. Big fruit notes up front with a heavy and long savory finish. The time spent in oak barrels adds another level of rich complexity that brings it all home. It is going on 6 years of age, but really settling in now.
This wine can age for the next ten years without a problem, but don’t be afraid to open one now!
