This was my first time seeing it rain in Vegas, and it was pouring! And I can’t think of a better way to lift the spirits early in the morning than with a nice cup of coffee and a donut to two.. (or 6). And the day gets even better because I get to meet Matthew from @SayHiToMatthew as we trek out to the @Donut Bar to enjoy not only the regular favourites, but their weekend special as well! From the French toast donut to a cinnamon grilled cheese donut! The donuts were delicious, soft and round (kinda like some people I know) and as good as the treats were, the people there made it just that extra special!
As we finished our donuts, the sun came out! Matthew prepared for a $2,500 slot pull and while he was busy with that, I decided to visit a recommendation from Matthew, and that’s the best seafood brunch buffet at the Wicked Spoon in the Cosmopolitan hotel on the strip. That buffet at $49 did not disappoint! Loads of steamed crab and seafood with a respectable craving station! While it lacked the prime rib, it made up for with the bone marrow! Great food, great desserts, and great people as well.
After all that food, a bit of excitement was needed to counteract the food coma…and excitement there was! A $2,500 slot pull… How did we do? You’ll just the to see…
